Bytown Sound is Ottawa’s most comprehensive source for live music events. Many music event websites that currently serve the Ottawa area focus on a particular music scene or are infrequently updated. Bytown Sound strives to include live music event listings from all genres. We try really, really hard to make sure that our calendar is as up-to-date, accurate, and complete as possible. Supporting local musicians is our number one priority!

Ottawa is a dynamic city stocked with active, creative minds. But, it’s sometimes difficult for both visitors and Ottawans alike to find music events happening in the city. Our goal is to list all the music events we can find, from cover bands at the local pub to renown musicians touring through the city, and especially rising local stars. We promise that you’ll be surprised at the sheer number of concerts hosted in Ottawa on any given day.
