Verisimo Chamber Quartet presents a program in celebration of French composers throughout the ages. Featuring works by the celebrated opera composer Bizet, the symphonic master Saint-Saens, and the exciting contemporary composer Connesson.
About; Verisimo, a name inspired by the realism movement in late-romantic Italian opera, brings a touch of realism to the abstract concept of music by uniting with the art of film. Original films have been created by an emerging cinematographer for classical and contemporary chamber music. Our exhibits screen new films, produced specifically for our collective while accompanied by a live soundtrack of the pieces which inspired them. Artists, in both the fields of music and film, working in tandem to provide a new presentation of these two mediums, bring to this project a unique, creative and vibrant energy. Verisimo is an event perfect for the seasoned concert goer, the film-buff, and audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
