After nearly two years of creative planning and rehearsal, on September 24th, 2016, Feifei Opera House, joined by many elite local artists, will present Feifei Opera Night 2016 to showcase a variety of classical and contemporary Chinese opera songs, such as Beijing opera, Yue opera, Shanghai opera, Yu opera and Huang Mei Opera. Action drama, cross-dressing comedy, as well as traditional Chinese dances will also be featured to share with you an unforgettable night of cultural feast.

Madame Feifei Yao, the artistic director and leading opera singer of the show, directed and choreographed the traditional opera songs and action drama in order to preserve and promote the ancient form of the art, yet she fused contemporary elements to energize the show for contemporaneity.

The night of programs will be presented as if a scroll of Chinese watercolor paintings is being opened gradually in front of your eyes from one scene to another: from simplicity to elegance; from romance to action; in order to bring back your fond memory of youth and craving for romance; to warm up your hearts in this golden Autumn night.

Let us all art lovers join together to celebrate the night to pursue our dreams and to bring our best wishes to the local community.
