Red Heaven is an Ottawa-based band founded in 2011 and are best known for lyric-centric original hard rock music mingled with exotic styles from around the world. The band brings wide stylistic range to every performance; from intimate acoustic arrangements to full-on psychedelic metal and everything in-between. Firebelly is a modern blues outfit dedicated to fostering Blues & Roots music into the future, while respecting its rich traditions. Its members are fueled by a collective passion to make great music. The music of these four gifted improvisers is pure, raw & spontaneous & no song is ever played exactly the same way twice. Firebelly’s influences range all the way back to early Blues Legends such as Muddy Waters, Sonny Boy Williamson, B.B. King, Albert King, Freddy King, & Buddy Guy to modern bluesman such as Robert Cray, Stevie Ray Vaughan and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. Firebelly’s fresh sound is also infused with diverse elements of Funk, Swing, Folk, Zydeco, Roots and Country, resulting in a rich & unique blend that energizes the spirit & soothes the soul!
