Blessed with a searing three octave range, Rebecca’s voice has been featured on BBC Radio in the U.K., Sirius Radio in America, Radio Bremen in Germany and CBC in Canada. She’s toured much of Europe and the U.S., performed for the troops in the Middle East and the high Arctic. After making waves as the 1st runner-up on TVA’s La Voix (The Voice : Canada), The legendary Jacksons featured Rebecca as a guest vocalist at their Canadian stop in Montreal. More recently, she’s been invited to perform alongside UK’s: Birdy, USA’s: Florida Georgia Line, Canadian hero Roch Voisine, and continues to tour with French-Canadian Music Icon: Marc Dupré. Rebecca Noelle has had the privilege to try her hand at just about every musical style she’s wanted to over the years. But it’s her natural affinity for jazz, that has set this stunning singer apart. With a velvety voice that is simply unforgettable, Rebecca expresses a musical honesty that nurtures the connection between audience and artist.
Compared to the likes of Marvin Gaye, No Doubt, and The Roots, Nile Groove, an accomplished and culturally diverse 6-piece Ottawa-based band has been grooving the music scene since its 2012 beginnings with its distinguishable fusion of pop-reggae and funk music combined with elements of soul, jazz, rock, and disco.
Subtle Curves is a new Alternative Soul group hailing from Canada’s capital. Sipping from a musical cocktail of opposing genres and feelings, the group had no choice but to mix the sultry and the sinful into an explosive experience that sounds like Arctic Monkeys got into a fight with a soulful Paramore. They have just released their first EP “Sanitary Clapping”, which they say is akin to 2001: A Space Odyssey (very quiet for the most part, but then kind of loud here and there).
