New Voices, New Songs @ Westboro Masonic Hall

Spirit of Rasputin’s presents a concert by some of the most exciting new singer-songwriter talents on the Ottawa music scene.

Khloe Bertrand, from the small town of Haley Station, last August at age 15 won the Female 18 and Under category at the Northern Ontario Open Country Singing Contest. She is the 2020 Sing Out for CHEO Emerging Artist winner.

Self-taught Ottawa singer-songwriter Miriam Dawn released her first album of covers in 2018 and is planning an all-originals second album.

Clarissa Fortin is a prolific songwriter and performer who joined Steve Palmer in our sellout Leonard Cohen concert. She performs in Ottawa and beyond as soloist and with the folk-rock band Maple Grove.

Phoebe Jade has performed with Ottawa folk band Hey High Sun, winners of Algonquin College’s battle of the bands, and lends her vocals to Maple Grove.

Jordan King, lead singer with Maple Grove, has fronted a number of rock groups and performs solo as well. He’s working on a number of cross-genre collaborations set for release this year.
