Loon Choir: (Ott)
Loon Choir’s music and lyrics allude to injustice and the destruction of nature. It’s a tall order to fill, and these musicians deliver with a live set packed full of enthusiasm, spontaneity, and sincerity.
The Loons have appeared at festivals like CityFolk (where they were nominated for a Stingray Music Rising Star Award), Pop Montreal, NXNE, JUNOfest and Ottawa Bluesfest.
The band is currently working on a new set of songs for release in 2019.
Mike Legere: (To)
Mike Legere is a musician/songwriter and producer originally from Nova Scotia, based out of Toronto. When he’s not playing with bands Century Thief and Places Erupt, Mike writes indie-folk which tends to be lyrically surreal and dense. He’s toured Ontario, Quebec and Eastern Canada with his bands, and recorded and produced several records.
