Friday & Saturday, January 11 & 12 – Jamie Douglas Band:
Jamie Douglas is an Ottawa-based entertainer. Spending the 90s as a solo acoustic musician he made the transition into film and television comedy/acting and writing in the 2000s. Touring across many provinces, states, and a stint in St. Maarten, Jamie was part of a Canadian Forces Showtour in the Persian Gulf. Jamie has been involed in puppetrey since 2005. In 2008 he put most of his creative energies back in to music with the formation of The Powergoats, an Ottawa-based at/blues/rock outfit.
Thursday, January 17 – Chris Evans Duo:
Since early 2008, the Chris Evans Band has been bringing the house down with their wide array of cover tunes and original music.

Jean-Francois Asselin is more than just your typical bar musician. He’s got the memory of an elephant. He knows there is nothing more exciting than hearing a song you’ve forgotten about and, if you’ve caught one of his solo shows, you’ve experienced just that. From The Beatles to Tom Petty, modern pop rock to one-hit wonders from the 90s, this Ottawa musician medleys his way through the night and keeps his audience singing and on its toes throughout.

Traditionally known for is soulful rock ballads, Jevon has finally made the move to country. “I have always loved Country, but just never thought a young Black man from Toronto would be taken seriously in the field.” Jevon would love to bring Country back to a black audience. And with his powerful vocals, insightful lyrics, and smooth style, he is the closest thing to an “inclusionary” voice that we have heard in a very long time.
