March 16 – The Casual Affairs Duo:
There’s just no time to fool around! Or is there? After the demise of their previous band in early 2012, drummer Sébastien Adam, bassist Patrice Lavergne and lead guitarist Benoit Desnoyers looked to add a little excitement to their musical lives. With the addition of Orleans own Lindsay White on lead vocals and Ottawa musician Jean-Francois Asselin on vocals and guitar, they got exactly what they wanted! While their intentions might be casual, The Casual Affairs have been serious about delivering quality entertainment, having opened for Honeymoon Suite, performed at major events like the St-Albert Curd Festival and playing regular shows at Bier Markt Ottawa and D’Arcy McGee’s Orleans. With a song repertoire spanning decades, from pop to country, rock to R&B, there’s something to please everybody. Needless to say, you might need more than just one night…
