TEN CITY BLOCKS
Each block will feature a different theme with completely surprising, mesmerising and fantastic free activities. Themes include a phosphorescent Enchanted Forest, Kids’ Zone, Glowfit, and a Glow Zone with live music.
TWO STAGES ON BOTH NIGHTS
Two stages, two nights – it’s going to be a weekend to remember. The Morguard Main stage will be home to two JUNO winners—Dragonette (2012) and Keys N Krates (2016) — who will be joined by a coast-to-coast roster of the hottest young musicians in Canada, including Young Galaxy, Rich Aucoin, Fevers, The Balconies, Caveboy & Gang Signs.
The Soundboard DJ Stage will feature 2016 JUNO nominees AutoErotique, who will be headlining on Saturday night, supported by KHAØS, DJ Grace and Rise Ashen. On Friday night, watch out for Lissa Monet, Strange Future, DJ Daisy & M. Caffrey and Frayd.

The ‘Silent Disco’ is also back and we’ve made it bigger than ever before! Once the early birds in the city go to bed and noise restrictions come into place at 11.30pm, festival goers can use a Bluetooth-enabled headset so they—but not Bank Street’s sleeping neighbours—can hear the music and dance until 2am.
If you haven’t been to Glowfair’s ‘Silent Disco’, now is the time. With more headsets available than ever before and now located in the bigger Morguard Main stage area, the silent disco is more of a mind-blowing experience than a mere DJ vs DJ event. Much more.
Cost: $20 deposit (Deposit includes $5 handling fee).
*No backpacks or large purses are allowed in licensed areas*
THE BANK STREET BIA
In 2014, the Bank Street BIA, headed by executive director Christine Leadman, wanted a main street festival unlike anything Ottawa had ever seen . They wanted to involve Bank Street’s restaurants, bars, merchants and other BIA members. They wanted to give back to the community, by creating an entirely free community event.
Based on the original concept by the House of SAS, the Glowfair Festival is now in its third year. A collaborative effort by all merchants and members of the BIA. It is a platform through which members can showcase their part of the reimagined Bank Street. And it is the BIA’s way of saying thank you to their growing community.
