A Baroque Chorus: Bernard Labadie And La Chapelle De Québec @ NAC Southam Hall

Heaven and Earth join in harmony in this evening of music fit for kings and angels. Celestial voices sing the universe into existence in the glorious Ode to St. Cecelia’s Day. Handel’s secular anthem The King Shall Rejoice, which has been performed at coronations of British monarchs since 1727, crowns the evening with regal splendour. With an international roster of vocal stars, the Juno-winning La Chapelle de Québec brings the pomp and passion of the Baroque era to the concert halls of the 21st century.

The Friends of the NAC Orchestra are pleased to hold a spectacular silent auction on March 7 and 8 in the Southam Hall Foyer in conjunction with this NAC Orchestra concert. Bid on outstanding and unique donated items from across Canada and from around the world. Proceeds benefit the Friends of the NAC Orchestra’s commitment to music education programs for young people. Help us build a fantastic future for music in Canada!
