The Magnolia Rhythm Kings’ approach to classic jazz is traditional in form and style, but adventurous in repertoire. Like the original musicians from New Orleans and Chicago, from early street parade rhythms and low-down blues, to the happy dancing sounds of the jazz age and subsequent revivals the world over, the music is played with enthusiasm and high energy.
